Send-Off Success!

The EWB Spring Trip send-off yesterday went great!

A special thanks to all our speakers as well as everybody who came out to the event.  As you can see in the picture, we even got a fancy proclamation from Steve Driehaus.

Trip Send-off Partay!!!

Get ready for an event that's going to be almost as cool as traveling to Kenya yourself.  Monday of exam week, take a break from whatever studying your doing.  (or not, if you're lucky)  We'll be throwing an party in TUC Cinema as a send-off for our spring team.  While technically we could have called it a presentation, or a speaker event, we're going with party because we're all really excited to be traveling and we want everyone else to share our excitement.  Plus, there's free food!

What: An EWB Send-off Party - Free food, fun, friends, videos, speakers and more! All are invited!

So where are we going anyways?

That's a good question.  On our spring trip, we're traveling to Otho Abwao, Kenya.  We'll leave Cincinnati by plane and after 2 layovers arrive in Nairobi.  After staying the night there, we'll be driven west till we almost reach Lake Victoria.  Otho Abwao is located within sight of Lake Victoria on a hill.  

If you really want to investigate more, type those Latitude and Longitude points into Google Earth and explore Otho Abwao for yourself.

Good news! Literally.

EWB has been getting a little bit of press lately with our upcoming spring trip.  Hopefully even more is on the way.
